Breast Cancer

My topic for my blogs is going to be on breast cancer. My mom has had breast cancer and it's in the family genes on her side so it's something that interests me. I will be researching the facts, signs, diagnosis, types, treatments, prevention, and other things that deal with it. First, I will talk about the signs of breast cancer.
Most people associate lumps with breast cancer but there are other signs that women should watch out for. Some of them include: the breast is warm to the touch, a flat or inverted nipple that was not caused at birth, the breast is often itchy, the skin around the breast is dimpled, swollen or breast that does not change with menstrual cycle or size increase, and breast that is red or blotchy. There are never symptoms of breast cancer, only signs. The only true way to know you have breast cancer is to get a mammogram.
